Jasmine Golden is an emerging Australian indie pop artist making waves with her vibrant 10-piece band. Growing up regionally in the South Coast of NSW, Jasmine discovered music as a way to express her queerness and playfully connect with those around her, weaving stories of yearning and coming of age into her indie pop anthems.
As a multi-talented creative Jasmine composes music for horns, strings, and many other facets of her music. As well as working sonically, Jasmine also creates all visual accompanying material for her work. This is what sets Jasmine apart from other artists, she is a creative visionary, building her work from a strong sense of concept and identity.
Her band itself reflects her artistic vision and eclectic background. Comprising emerging musicians from both regional Australia and abroad, her ensemble features Charlotte Gaal (violin), Chelsie Fu (clarinet), Lena Morris (trumpet), William Rue (trombone), Eugene Dunn (piano), Alvin Chung (lead guitar), Jorjabelle Munday (bass), Morgan Monk (drums), and vocalists Ariella Tracton and Natalie Jean.
After signing with label DISRUPTIVE ENTERTAINMENT, Golden has been quietly perfecting her sound, working in collaboration with producers ButterBath [Toby Anagnostis] and James K. Lewis, crafting a dreamy EP that promises to captivate listeners.
